Boris formed in 1992 and eventually arrived at the band’s current lineup of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo in 1996.  In the years since, Boris has tirelessly explored their own rendition of what is heavy through methods entirely their own. Though the depths of their “heaviness” may intensify, their unique musicianship defies classification in any one genre or style, so let’s just call it real “heavy music” in extreme color. Their music has been called a “game changer” regarding the leading edge of the world’s rock scene, and that influence is limitless. They enter realms that cannot be described simply in terms of the “explosive sound” or “thunderous roars” that have become their trademark.

Suppression are a 2-piece, bass and drums, noise-violence duo from Richmond, VA. Suppression originally formed in Roanoke, VA in 1992 as a 4-piece and eventually a 5-piece. After 2 full U.S. tours and multiple releases and split records, the original line-up dissolved in 1997. The sole remaining member, Jason Hodges (bass, vocals), relocated to Richmond, VA in 1998 and in 2000, with Ryan Parrish on drums and backing vocals, they reactivated the band. The 2-piece have recorded numerous releases on multiple formats on multiple labels and have played hundreds of shows together. 2018 saw the release of their first ever full length LP, "Placebo Reality," which was self recorded by the band. In 2023 Suppression and Bastard Noise released the collaboration LP "Infernal Legions" on the Anthems Of The Undesirable label. It was quickly followed by the "Spiritual Sepsis" LP on To Live A Lie Records in 2024 with the band embarking on a tour of Japan and South Korea with Miami's Shitstorm upon release. Now, in 2025 Suppression have just released the self-recorded "Whispering Campaign" cassette on their own label Chaotic Noise Productions with the A side featuring 27 brand new tracks in their signature style and the B side being more experimental recordings with drums, vocals, and a Slimebox Nano which was invented and built by Richmond VA's Molasses Industries.
