This summer it’s our 20 year anniversary of us doing our one-of-a-kind Dance Party Happy Hours at Belly Up that we started in 2004. Wow! And the Belly Up is celebrating their 50th anniversary this summer, too. Now, that’s some community longevity of live music, connection and joy! Such GOOD VIBEz!
Join us for this Atomic Groove Good Vibez ONLY (v2) Summer Dance Party Happy Hour, the second of three in a row. This Friday our featured high vibrating AG guests charismatic rocker vocalist Jeff Haight with is big presence, a big voice and a big heart. Sub drummer Barry Chenaulut will step in for the out-of-town Mike Stone and provide his good-vibed good groove, too. Studentz from the AG Fly Girlz Dance Class will bring their super-charged enthusiasm, come cheer them on!
Wear a bit of summer white and/or a splash of vibrant summer color-and your good vibez ONLY!
Want to learn to dance like an Atomic Groove Fly Girl?
Come take an AG Fly Girlz Dance Class, taught by Atomic Girl Carrie. Held at locally-owned MB Fit Studio, in Solana Beach.
The newest Series #9 recently started May 28th and runs thru July 30th.
Drop-in any time, a section of the dance is always taught thoroughly.
- Every Tuesday 630p
- Special "Fast Track" Saturday 1230p, July 27th. Learn the whole dance in one class, ideal for those who have been taking the class for a review or for those who want to lean at an accelerated pace.
Come once and learn a little bit of the dance or come to all the classes and learn the whole dance.
Maybe even get on stage at a Happy Hour and perform!
All ages, all abilities, all sizes, all inclusive….newbies to super experienced always welcome.
**Atomic Groove is currently seeking more full time AG Fly Girlz to add to our team. Pro level experience preferred but not required.

Each AG Happy Hour has a consistent delivery of fun and good vibes but is always has just enough change and variety to the show to keep a loyal, dedicated and enthusiastic crowd coming back for more, week in and week out.
Regular attendees remark at how it is therapy for them and how much they look forward to each Atomic Groove Happy Hour. First-timers are amazed at the vibe in the room and the sheer joy common to each person there.
An Atomic Groove Happy Hour is designed to give permission to let loose & be a little silly, by connecting to The Groove and dancing to your favorite dance jams from today to yesterday.
