The Drowning Men

Based out of Oceanside, California, the Drowning Men are purveyors of sweeping, dramatic indie rock with a gruff, blue-collar sensibility. Evoking an alternate universe version of Arcade Fire as fronted by Nick Cave, the band's sound feels both carefully orchestrated and straight from the heart, striking a fine balance between the overblown and the down to earth. The group got its start in 2006 when childhood friends Nato Bardeen (vocals, guitars, keys), James Smith (guitar), and Rory Dolan (percussion) decided to start making music together. Recruiting Todd Eisenkerch (bass) and Gabe Messer (keyboards), the Drowning Men released their Kill the Matador EP in 2007. Their full-length debut, Beheading of the Song Bird, followed in 2009, and afterwards the band set out on the road, spending the next couple of years supporting bands like the Airborne Toxic Event, Flogging Molly, and Alkaline Trio. The band eventually signed on with Flogging Molly's label, Borstal Beat Records, which released the Drowning Men's sophomore album, All of the Unknown, in 2012.

Dark Alley Dogs

Dark Alley Dogs is a 5-piece guitar-driven rock n’ roll band founded in 2017 and is based in North Coastal San Diego County. The band consists of Brane Chile (vocals, guitar, shopping cart, single dread), Jason “Donnie Hot Sauce” DeCorse (lead guitar, talent), Tony All Benelli (rhythm guitar, vocals, hair), Ray Ray Garcia (drums, cowbell, girls) & Matt Weaver (bass, burritos, Guinness). The Dogs live shows are known for ripping guitars, timely anthems, jokes, fun and ferocity that leave the audience screaming for more. A self-titled album was released in April 2018 with a follow up E.P. in 2021. A new record is in the works in 2022.

Shake Before Us

Formed in San Diego in 2010, Shake Before Us is a vintage-styled rock 'n roll band comprised of Will, Cuz, Jesse and Fonda, four friends who share a passion for creating and performing music. Self-described as "a wild combination of noisy, rocking, trash, garage, mayhem, '60s punk sci-fi music," Shake Before Us draws comparisons between their music and that of The Animals, The Doors, The Strokes and The Raconteurs. Their debut self-titled album was both recorded and released in 2011 and includes 10 punchy songs in the style of pure rock 'n roll.Shake Before Us recently completed their debut record with John “Swami” Reis producing and local engineering master Ben Moore on the controls. Recorded live directly to a vintage 8-track reel-to-reel, the album is a perfect snap shot of the band at their best…LIVE.In their first 6 months of playing live, they have shared the stage with Supersuckers, The Blasters, King Khan and the Shrines, Holly Golightly, Kid Congo, and The Jacuzzi Boys.

SHAKE BEFORE US released their second full-length album, RADIO TIME BOMB, on vinyl and CD this past summer 2014. As with the band's 2012 debut, it was produced by John "Swami" Reis (Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes). Both albums were recorded live directly to vintage tape machines (8-track and 16-track reel-to-reel, respectively), and they're perfect snapshots of the band at its best... LIVE.
